Dr. Muhammad Omar Sheikh Al-Najjarin holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Beirut on the subject of (Islamic Reinsurance), a master’s degree in Sharia and Islamic studies from the University of Sharjah in interpretation, in addition to a master’s degree in private law from Al Ain University in the subject of (Takaful Insurance Contract A Comparative study between Sharia and Law), and a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia.

He has a diverse practical experience that started since the year 2000, then specialized in the Takaful Insurance business in the year 2008 to date. During his years of experience in Takaful, he practiced various works between Sharia and Law in auditing, control and auditing, providing consultancy and training. He also participated in many conferences, seminars, courses and workshops.

He worked as an assistant to the Head of the Sharia and Legal Department in the Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company for six years, since 2008, then he held the position of Head of Sharia and Legal Department at Al Hilal Takaful Company in the year 2014 for six years, and then returned in 2020 as Senior Manager of the Sharia Supervision Department in Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company.

Dr. Mohamed Omar has several research studies and scientific research papers in Takaful and Re-Takaful.
