The 8th Sharia Departments Forum 2023
Titled Secretary of The Internal Sharia Supervision Committee (Scope and Responsibilities)
The forum is held annually in April / May. Sharia Departments in Islamic Financial Institutions in UAE are invited to discuss various topics in the Islamic financial industry and come up with practical results and recommendations for best practices.
1st Session Topic: Technical Scope of the Secretary of ISSC

- Governance of the secretary of ISSC
- Preparing and organizing the meetings of ISSC
- Present reports
- Preparing and drafting the minutes of the meetings
2nd Session Topic: Administrative Scope of the Secretary of ISSC
2nd Session Themes:
- Communicating the resolutions of ISSC
- Following up with resolution implementation
- Filing fatwas and resolutions
- Follow-up administrative matters related to ISSC
